Yes that’s right. This is an awesome post. Just check the awesome date and you’ll see that I’m right. :)  I just HAD to do it. I just HAD to post on this awesome date at this awesome time. But I guess I’m not the only one that is going to post at this specific awesome time. I bet that Twitter will be bombed with tweets on 11-11-11 @ 11:11.

That’s pretty much all I wanted to say in this awesome post.

Have an awesome day! :P

Olrik

P.S. I was high on sugar when I wrote this on 13/01/11 @ 23:41.

Hello everyone,

Maybe some of you remember the first day I released my most downloaded tool. I sure do! I was excited about what I had produced and really currious as to where my tool would go. But I never expected it tp be downloaded this many times. I mean, of course WVCheck is usefull for tracking down illegal versions of windows, but I sure didn’t expect 3000 downloads! Yes, that’s right. Three. Thousand. Downloads.  Thats around 250 downloads a month, or 8 to 9 downloads a day!

This is a re-post of the article that got lost when I dumped my personal blog. I thought it was of value so I am reposting it now.

The past week or so, I have been playing around with the APIs of a site called RolePlayGateway through Python. This blog post will be all about those APIs and how to work with it using Python. In this blog post I am going to assume you have some coding knowledge, Python is not hard to understand so anyone with a decent coding background would be able to read the following example. Keep in mind I am not a genius and some of this code could probably have written in a better way. Feel free to show me how in the comments section!

Today, I noticed I had a great quote on the homescreen of my Android Phone. I use an app called “Daily Quotes 4 U” to show me a quote each day.

Today however I saw a quote that people in general should follow. A quote that truely struck me as amazing.

“Greatness is not found in possessions, power, position, or prestige. It is discovered in goodness, humility, service, and character.” – William Arthur Ward

As I write this, I am actually lying in bed not having anything better to do than look around the Android Market for interesting apps. And I think I just dound one that I will like. It’s an app that allows me to write to my blog, edit posts, edit pages and look at comments.

Seeing as I have all my passwords stored in a database that I can’t access when I’m in the train, I can simply use this app to check up on things. If you are also interested in this app, search the Android Market for “WordPress”. Note that this app works with all WordPress blogs running version 2.7 or higher.

Soon, I should get my update to 2.1, after I do, I might do a few app reviews. But until then, I can enjoy myself on more coding work on SINO and WVCheck (Which I still need to write a download page for.)

Well, that concludes today’s blog post. See you next time!

I got into a conversation with someone today that just reminded me how much I despise people that do not take the effort to try and write proper sentences on the Support Forums that I visit. Of course I know that not everyone is born with English as their native language, and I certainly won’t expect everyone to write perfect sentences, but I see more and more people on the forum that use “Text Speak”. Text Speak, for the ones that do not know what this is, is a way of writing words shorter than they actually are or even change that in letters because the would sound the same. For example; “for” would be “4″. This makes sentences like; “Do you have some sugar for me?” into this;  “Do u have sum sugar 4 me?”.

As a lot of you might know, I am quite a geek when it comes to fixing Technical Problems. But when I am not helping people at Geeks to Go! or 247 Fixes I tend to read a couple of blogs and follow  some comics that I enjoy. I just want to share this list with the rest of you, so here goes!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year!

I haven’t really written any blog posts lately, I just haven’t had the time or motivation to write anything, however the New Year is definitely an excuse to write up something and wish everyone the best for the year of 2010!

Past year has been quite good for me.. I started off as Tech Staff at Geeks to Go; Got my first Diploma in computing; Progressed on SINO a lot and started a new project (which I will hopefully work more on and release as well). If 2010 will be as good as 2009 SINO will be released with Unicode before I know it ;-)

The best of wishes to all of you, and a happy new year!

Olrik

Hello people,

This is a quick update post to let everyone know that I now deem Artellos.com finished in construction. As time will go on, news updates on SINO and other events will pop up on this site.

If you find any broken links or parts of the site that need improvement, Don’t hesitate to contact me.

Olrik

Hello people,

I have decided to change Artellos.com into a blog / static website instead of having a forum. A forum simply required too much of my time keeping the spammers at bay which took my mind off of my school and coding. *waves with a stick at the spammers*

I’m going to keep all the information regarding SINO (and possibly other tools) in a separate section, That way everything is easy to find. :)

Please hang in tight while I construct the rest of this site.

Regards,
Olrik
